Vestry

The Vestry is the lay governing body of Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, elected during our Annual Meeting. Basic responsibilities of the Vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage finances. Our Vestry members devote a great deal of personal time to overseeing our operations. We are grateful for their dedication and continued support.
CHURCH OF THE REDEEMER ANNUAL MEETING
AND VESTRY NOMINATIONS
Sunday, February 19, 2023
We will gather to hear reports on our 2022 ministry from our parish leadership and look ahead, as well as elect five new Vestry members for a three-year-term. We will also elect Delegates and Alternate Delegates for upcoming Diocesan Conventions and Permanent Property Fund Trustee.
The Nominating Committee is charged with developing a diverse (age, sex, worship service representation, expertise, etc.) slate of candidates who understand the needs of the parish and community. If you would like to put your name forward to be considered as a nominee, or know someone who might be interested, please reach out to the Nominating Committee Chair, Emily von Allmen by October 14th.
Information about the primary responsibilities of those who serve on the Vestry, as well as the duties of delegates and trustees can be found in the links below.
