Each week Mr. Tommy chooses a fun, family activity geared toward our Club CoR and Children's Liturgy age groups (grades 1-4), but accessible to all! The videos are timeless, so feel free to go back and view posts from week's past when you need a pick-me-up or a conversation starter for your kids!
Godly Play is a Montessori-based program for 3 to 6 year olds during the 10:00 a.m. services that gives them an opportunity to learn foundational bible stories in a safe and welcoming environment that fosters discovery learning. During the school year, each week on Wednesdays, the Redeemer Preschool participates in Chapel with "Coach Brad" – Redeemer Minister for Families Brad Gough. Please check out the spring's chapel lessons below and join us again in the fall for more Chapel with Coach Brad.
St. Francis Room is a class for older two year olds and younger three year olds that are ready for more structured play. Children can be dropped off in the playroom as early as 8:45 a.m. During services they will participate in biblical story time followed by coloring, crafts, and play. Children’s Liturgy is an age-appropriate mini-service for 1st through 4th graders during the 10:00 am services. The kids are the leaders in this service, acting as readers, acolytes, and leading prayers as they learn the rhythms of our liturgy. Club CoR is a formation class for 1st through 4th graders that is designed to build community between the children. It includes ongoing elements that will become familiar each week, as well as new learning topics.
The class meets at 11:15 a.m. in the Parlor to experience and learn some aspect of who we are in Christ. Pickup is at 12:15 p.m.
BEATS by CoR (Bridge for Early Adolescents and Teens) is a developmentally appropriate formation program for 5th through 8th graders. It focuses on "finding God in our every day," using real-world and relevant themes such as movies and popular songs to explore ideas of faith for “Tweens” and Early Teens.
