Advent Quiet Day
Saturday, December 9, 2023, 9:00 AM
Does the thought of the holiday season overwhelm you? Don’t let the busy-ness of the season take away the joy! Please join us on Saturday, December 9, for a Advent Quiet Day led by Minister of Liturgy, Anny Stevens Gleason. The Advent quiet day provides a much needed oasis of peace and inspiration as we prepare for the blessings of Christmas. Come for some of the time or for the whole time.
The Advent quiet day provides a much needed oasis of peace and inspiration as we prepare for the blessings of Christmas. We will begin at 9:00 a.m. We will gather using the “Daily Prayer for All Seasons”, using this variation on “The Daily Office” to guide us. Over the course of our time together we will gather for meditations and periods of common worship and prayer. Each participant is encouraged to dress in warm comfy, clothes, and bring a brown bag lunch along with something to write on. We will conclude around 3:00 p.m.REGISTER HERE
