Sunday Indoor Worship
Holy Eucharist, Rite II
Sundays at 9:00 am
Sundays at 11:00 am
Church of the Redeemer is pleased to welcome you in person to join our 9:00 am Holy Eucharist Livestream or our 11:00 am Holy Eucharist worship service. As we enter our church building for worship, we ask you to remember our Community Covenant in which we commit to demonstrate Christian love and care and provide for the health and safety of every person.
Before coming to the church on Sunday morning we ask you to register. Our seating is limited due to distancing requirements; thus, it is important that everyone register so we can remain within that reduced number. If you find there are no longer spaces available, you may wish to register for a different time, or participate with us online from home at the 9:00 am Holy Eucharist Livestream.
How Will It Work?
Watch this short video for a fuller understanding of what to expect.
Our doors will open at 8:45 am and again at 10:45 am. When you arrive, please come to the front doors of the church on Erie Avenue. All worshipers will be asked to enter and exit through these doors. Should you require the elevator, because of mobility issues, you can indicate this when you register, and accommodations will be made. Remember everyone is required to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth while they are on the church campus.
All worshipers will be seated by our ushers, so you may encounter a line to enter the sanctuary. Please use the floor decals to maintain a 6-foot distance from others in line. Because seating will occur from the front pews back, we ask that you wait outside for all members of your party to arrive before entering the building. This will ensure that you can all sit together.
Because we will be distributing limited paper bulletins at this time, you may choose to print your worship bulletin at home or use your tablet/phone to access it from the pew. A sign with a QR Code is provided to link you to a pdf of our worship bulletin. You may also use the button below.
Childcare will be available, please indicate your need on the registration form. Families are asked to access our childcare room from the narthex through the Great Hall. Once your child has been dropped off with our caregivers, please use the same pathway back to the narthex to enter the sanctuary to be seated.
We are all grateful that we will celebrate the Holy Eucharist together again. When it is time, the ushers will direct you forward for the distribution of the host. Please take the host and return to your seats before removing your mask to consume it.
When we have been dismissed from worship, our ushers will once again guide you. This time from the back pews forward. Once you are dismissed, we ask you to please continue through the front doors of the church without stopping. This will help us release people in a timely manner. Once you are outside the building, please feel free to greet each other. Our clergy will join those gathered there after the worship service to also say hello, too.
