Children are at the heart of life at Redeemer! Children learn about the word of God through our Children's Christian Education programs; they are involved in worship services, they play music in our services, and they form lifelong friendships with each other through their experiences.
The Playroom is a joyful place where professional childcare providers are available on Sundays from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. to look after our youngest parishioners (ages 0-2). Snacks such as goldfish, pretzels, and animal crackers are provided.
St. Francis Room is a class for older toddlers that are ready for more structured play. Children can be dropped off in the playroom as early as 8:45 a.m. During services they will participate in biblical story time followed by coloring, crafts, and play. A light snack of pretzels, animal crackers, or goldfish may be provided.

Godly Play is a Montessori-based program for 3 to 6 year olds during the 10:00 a.m. services that gives them an opportunity to learn foundational bible stories in a safe and welcoming environment that fosters discovery learning. Children’s Liturgy is an age-appropriate mini-service for 1st through 4th graders during the 10:00 am services. The kids are the leaders in this service, acting as readers, acolytes, and leading prayers as they learn the rhythms of our liturgy. BEATS by CoR (Bridge for Early Adolescents and Teens) is a developmentally appropriate formation program for 5th through 8th graders. It focuses on "finding God in our every day," using real-world and relevant themes such as movies and popular songs to explore ideas of faith for “Tweens” and Early Teens.

Club CoR is a formation class for 1st through 4th graders that is designed to build community between the children. It includes ongoing elements that will become familiar each week, as well as new learning topics.
The class meets at 11:15 a.m. in the Parlor to experience and learn some aspect of who we are in Christ. Pickup is at 12:15 a.m.
Redeemer Preschool is a Christian preschool serving children ages 2½ to 5. Redeemer Youth Group meets every Sunday after the 10:00 a.m. services for formation, as well as Sunday afternoons and evenings periodically throughout the year for fun, fellowship events, and service activities.
Youth Confirmation Class for 9th graders takes place on Sunday afternoons from 12-1:30 p.m. beginning in January. The program not only focuses on preparing youth for Confirmation, but also challenges them to explore their faith through meetings with mentors, small group discussion, and a trip to a mosque.
Communion is a Sacrament feast that connects us to God and to one another.

Youth Mission Trips are the heart of the youth program. The service missions trips during the Summer to Appalachian Tennessee and Vinton County, Ohio offer a chance for children in 7th through 12th grade and leaders to serve as disciples in Christ to those in need and reaffirm our baptismal covenant.
From Memorial Day through Labor Day, children age 3 through 4th grade are invited to the chapel at the beginning of the Gospel Hymn for Summer Break: an age appropriate Gospel lesson and interactive Children's sermon. Children return to services around the Peace to join their families for Holy Eucharist.
