For our fifth year of engagement in our long-term commitment to Becoming Beloved Community, Church of the Redeemer will embark upon a series on Justice: Repairing the Breach in society and institutions.
Sunday mornings during Lent at 10:00 am, join us for a deep dive on the history of Race and Racism in Cincinnati. Discover together how our Church has blessed and built the exquisite, and the invisible walls of our city.
February 26 - Introduction to The Iceberg (Tym House)
March 5- The History of Race & Racism in Cincinnati (Nancy Schwartz and Bekky Baker, Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center Program Manager)
March 12 - The History Timeline of Church of the Redeemer with Elizabeth Grover
March 19 - The Breach (Rev. Melanie Slane)
March 26 - Repair and Restore (Hannah Teetor)
April 2 - (Palm Sunday)- Passion (John Calhoun and Bekky Baker, IJPC Program Manager)
Also on April 2, Box Lunch and Bus Tour at 12:30 pm led by Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center (IJPC) Program Manager, Bekky Baker, with emphasis on locations in our city connected to the history of Race and Racism in Cincinnati. REGISTRATION FOR THE BUS TOUR IS NOW CLOSED. ALL SEATS HAVE BEEN FILLED.
