Church Ministries: Reconciliation, Transformation, and Liberation
Sunday, October 13, 2024, 10:05 AM
Join us in the Parlor on Sundays at 10:05 am or on ZOOM as we continue our focus on the transformative and cosmic implications of the Church, it makes sense to explore the cosmic reverberations of its ministries. Indeed, through its ministries, the Church participates in God’s ultimate plan of reconciliation—making all things new.
We are excited to begin our new series, “Church Ministries: Reconciliation, Transformation, and Liberation,” with a special guest speaker, Dr. Adam Clark, Associate Professor of Theology at Xavier University. Dr. Clark is a theologian, university professor, and committed seeker of justice. Dr. Clark’s presentation will focus on “Howard Thurman and the Mystical-Prophetic,” which aligns strongly with the themes of reconciliation, transformation, and liberation. Dr. Clark will highlight the Church’s cosmic calling--its prophetic role in challenging injustice and inspiring hope for reconciliation and renewal in creation.
