STEWARDSHIP OF ENVIRONMENT
Almighty God, in giving us dominion over things on earth, you made us fellow workers in your creation: Give us wisdom and reverence so to use the resources of nature, that no one may suffer from our abuse of them, and that generations yet to come may continue to praise you for your bounty; through Jesus Christ our Lord. What is our environment? Our church facility… our home… our community… our parks… our natural resources… the Earth. Stewardship of our environment challenges us individually, and as a parish, to find activities to become involved with. Good stewards protect and care for our environment as a gift from God. Treat the earth well: it was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children. We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children.
