STEWARDSHIP OF ESTATE
Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received. 1 Peter 4:10-11
Stewardship is what we do, all of the time, with everything God has given us. As good stewards, it is our responsibility to plan for the just and equable distribution of our estate. Stewardship of estate enables us to learn about general estate planning, wills, trusts, living wills and medical power of attorney, funeral planning, etc. Our society is currently debating many issues around right to life and right to death. By becoming educated about your options and documenting your plans, you can make your wishes known. Redeemer has many resources available to you, including a funeral plan document that you can keep on file at the church. Our annual focus on Stewardship of Estate encourages you to document your estate plans if you haven’t already done so, and to review and update your plans annually.
